Digital ortophoto
Aero photo is captured with central projection and has different scale regarding to the position on the photo. Therefore, it can not be used for distance measurement.
Orthophoto is produced by the algorythms that transforms central projection to the orthogonal projection. This process makes orthophoto metric product that can be used as a basic map or information layer.
